Levi Stoudt Scheduled To Make MLB Debut Wednesday
2 years agoThe Cincinnati Reds have added right-handed pitching prospect Levi Stoudt to their taxi squad, and he is scheduled to make his major-league debut on Wednesday against the Tampa Bay Rays. Stoudt is the Reds' No. 14 prospect, per MLB Pipeline, and he was 0-1 with a 4.09 ERA, 1.54 WHIP, nine walks and 10 strikeouts in 11 innings over three starts for Triple-A Louisville before getting his first major-league call-up as a spot starter for Cincinnati this week. The 25-year-old throws his fastball in the upper-90s and could eventually have a nice four-pitch mix, but for now, fantasy managers in redraft leagues should look to avoid Stoudt as a streamer against a strong Rays ballclub in his first MLB start.
