1 month agoChicago Bulls power forward Lauri Markkanen got going on Wednesday against Minnesota, finishing a 117-110 win with 21 points on 6-for-14 shooting. He went 4-for-10 from deep in what's only his second 20-point game of the month. Markkanen also had six rebounds and one steal in 34 minutes. The Finnish forward scored 18.7 points with nine rebounds during his rookie campaign, but he's had it rough during his sophomore season, getting only 15 points and 6.5 boards per night. He showed off good three-point shooting on Wednesday, but he also went 0-for-7 with the three-ball in his previous outing, so his performances have been very inconsistent. The next matchup against Sacramento won't be easy either, as the Kings have a top-five defensive record against opposing power forwards this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
