Kyle Muller Recalled To Start Tuesday
2 years agoThe Atlanta Braves recalled left-hander Kyle Muller from Triple-A Gwinnett on Tuesday and optioned right-hander Alan Rangel to Gwinnett in a corresponding move. Muller will make the start on Tuesday against the Washington Nationals. The 24-year-old southpaw will be making only his third start of the year for Atlanta and only his 12th major-league appearance in the last two seasons. In his two previous starts this year, he allowed nine earned runs on seven hits (one homer) while walking seven and striking out eight in 7 2/3 innings against the Texas Rangers and Miami Marlins. Muller does have strikeout upside, with 159 K's in 134 2/3 innings in the minors in 2022, but he'll be a risky fantasy streamer, even against the Nats.
