Kyle Farmer Sent From Reds To Twins
2 years agoKyle Farmer is the newest member of the Minnesota Twins after being acquired in a trade from the Cincinnati Reds. The Reds will receive minor league right-handed pitcher Casey Legumina in exchange for Farmer. The 32-year-old Farmer enjoyed arguably his best year at the plate in 2022, recording a .701 OPS with 14 home runs in 583 plate appearances, though that only resulted in a 91 wRC+. Farmer figures to be a depth piece and fill some of the playing time vacated by the earlier trade of Gio Urshela to the Los Angeles Angels, but fantasy managers should not look to invest in the righty swinger.
