Kyle Connor Adds A Helper To Hold Off Ottawa On Monday
7 years agoWinnipeg Jets forward Kyle Connor registered an assist and six shots on goal in the 6-5 victory over the Ottawa Senators on Monday. Suffice it to say that Connor has been having a stellar year; with the assist against the Sens, he has moved into fifth place for rookie scoring with 55 points, only three behind Vancouver's Brock Boeser. Connor has been shooting at 15.7 percent and while that's likely to see some regression, the young American is getting more pucks to the net lately, which has helped him score six goals and 10 points in the last nine games. He's one goal shy of 30 but will have plenty of chances to grab it, as the Jets have an easy schedule to close out the season. Connor is only owned in 61 percent of ESPN leagues and could be a great streaming option down the stretch.
