Montreal Canadiens left wing Juraj Slafkovsky survived the final roster cut ahead of the new NHL season and he will make his debut on Wednesday against Toronto. The team has some injury issues and it will allow Slafkovsky to start life in the NHL on a line with Christian Dvorak and Brendan Gallagher. The No. 1 pick of this year's draft should be eager to impress after his preseason didn't go too well. He picked up only two points in six preseason games and Canadiens general manager Kent Hughes even called Slafkovsky's play "a little underwhelming". The 18-year-old has high expectations on his shoulders, but fantasy managers will definitely need to have a lot of patience with him.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
