Montreal Canadiens winger Juraj Slafkovsky sustained a lower-body injury in Sunday's clash with the Rangers. He was able to log just 9:04 of action in the game and finished with two shots on goal, two penalty minutes and a minus-one rating. The No. 1 pick is now under evaluation to determine his status for Tuesday's matchup against Winnipeg. Slafkovsky has had a very quiet rookie campaign with only four goals and six assists in 39 games. He has mostly logged bottom-six minutes, averaging 12:12 of ice time. The 18-year-old has been on a miserable 15-game point drought since mid-December, so having some time off might actually be good for Slafkovsky.--Taavi Pailk
