Los Angeles Angels infielder Jose Fernandez is starting at first base on Friday, batting sixth. With Jefry Marte, Zack Cozart and Shohei Ohtani all on the DL, a regular spot at first base has opened up. Luis Valbuena is the regular third baseman, with Albert Pujols taking regular DH duties. Fernandez was tearing it up in Triple-A, and is 2-for-6 so far in the big leagues. He isn't worth a look except in very deep leagues.--patton
