1 month agoChicago Cubs shortstop Javier Baez (thumb) is unable to hit, but can still contribute to the team during Saturday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals. Baez has a hairline fracture in his thumb, and can't grip the bat or wear a glove. However, his legs and fine and he's available to pinch run for this game. The Cubs are hopeful that Baez can return for the postseason, assuming the Cubs are able to clinch a spot. Baez won't have any DFS value as a pinch runner, so go ahead and ignore him.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
