Jason Croom Could Be Lost For The Season
Jason Croom (knee), who was carted off early in the preseason game against the New England Patriots on Thursday, is feared to have suffered a season-ending knee injury, according to a source. Croom is undergoing an MRI exam to confirm. The 27-year-old played in just four games for the Eagles last season and caught his only target for a three-yard touchdown, but this is a hit to Philly's tight end depth with the regular season quickly approaching. Although Zach Ertz remains on the roster, Dallas Goedert is the tight end to own in Philadelphia in 2021. Goedert was on pace to finish as a top-10 fantasy tight end in 2020, if not for his injury, and he has the potential to return value as a low-end TE1 if Ertz eventually leaves town.
