Jared Triolo Taking A Seat Against Reds
4 months agoPittsburgh Pirates infielder Jared Triolo isn't included in the starting lineup for Sunday's series finale against the division-rival Cincinnati Reds at PNC Park. Triolo will get a day off to rest after starting in each of the team's last eight games. Alika Williams is getting the nod at second base for this one and will bat eighth against Reds right-hander Nick Martinez. The 26-year-old Triolo is getting more run in Pittsburgh's lineup with both Nick Gonzales and Ke'Bryan Hayes on the shelf. He's still not much more of a fantasy option in mixed leagues, though, and is hitting .197/.283/.285 on the year with six homers, 33 RBI and five steals in 95 games played in his second year in the big leagues. Fantasy managers should be able to find better DFS options than Williams, who is still searching for his first major-league home run in his 75th career game.
