James O'Shaughnessy Missing From Practice Wednesday
3 years agoJacksonville Jaguars tight end James O'Shaughnessy (hip) did not take part in practice on Wednesday. O'Shaugnessy's absence from practice is notable since fellow tight ends Dan Arnold, Chris Manhertz, Jacob Hollister and Luke Farrell are all currently on the COVID-19 list. If O'Shaughnessy is unable to play in Week 17 against the New England Patriots, Kahale Warring would be thrust into a starting role on Sunday. O'Shaughnessy is the tight end to roster in fantasy in Jacksonville as long as Arnold is sidelined, but he's not a realistic TE1 streamer in the Jags low-upside offense led by struggling rookie quarterback Trevor Lawrence. O'Shaughnessy has exactly four receptions in each of his last three games, good for 130 scoreless yards. The Patriots have also been a tough matchup for opposing TEs this year.
