The veteran has largely played third base in his big-league career but has also logged more than 400 career innings at first base as well. The 33-year-old most recently appeared in 19 games with the Angels in 2023, hitting .216 with two homers across 54 trips to the plate. He also hit .289 with 11 home runs and an .874 OPS across 85 games at the Triple-A level between the Yankees and Angels organizations. For his big-league career, Lamb has hit .235 with 96 homers, 18 stolen bases, and a .753 OPS across 724 games played but has seen his bat fall significantly below the league average since the 2018 season.
