Jacob Harris Needs Season-Ending Surgery
3 years agoLos Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said that rookie wide receiver/tight end Jacob Harris (knee) injured his ACL and MCL in the Sunday night loss to the Tennessee Titans and will need season-ending surgery. It's a blow for the team's depth at the position. With Harris out of the fold the rest of the way, Brycen Hopkins and Kendall Blanton will now be the primary backups to starter Tyler Higbee. Harris was mostly used on special teams in the first nine games of his career, playing just 15 offensive snaps over two games while not seeing a single target from quarterback Matthew Stafford. The 24-year-old was a fourth-round pick by the Rams this spring out of Western Kentucky.
