Jack Neely Joins Triple-A
6 months agoNew York Yankees pitching prospect Jack Neely made his Triple-A debut with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on June 19. Neely tossed one shutout frame where he allowed one hit and struck out one batter. Neely spent most of the past two summers with Double-A Somerset and held a strong 2.59 ERA, 1.03 WHIP, and 15:77 BB:K ratio across 48 ⅔ frames. He showcased similar high-upside strikeout potential with High-A as he struck out 82 batters across 53 ⅓ innings. The Ohio State product is currently ranked as the 24th-best prospect in the Yankee system and is projected to make his major league debut later this summer. Neely could be worth adding in holds leagues once given the call, as he should be given ample opportunities to tally holds pitching on a strong Yankee team.
