J.J. Nelson Expected To Miss 2-4 Weeks
4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver J.J. Nelson (knee) is expected to miss two to four weeks with a knee injury. And the wideout injuries continue for the 49ers in training camp. Jalen Hurd (knee) is already out for the season, Deebo Samuel (foot) might not be ready for Week 1, and rookie Brandon Aiyuk (hamstring) has been slowed this week. It's why the Niners have added Tavon Austin, Kevin White and River Cracraft recently. Nelson may not be ready for Week 1 because of his injury, but he was a long shot to have a meaningful role in the offense to begin with. Aiyuk (if healthy) and Kendrick Bourne figure to be the biggest beneficiaries of all the team's injuries at the position to begin the 2020 season.
