J.D. McKissic A Decent PPR Option In Week 1

Washington Commanders running back J.D. McKissic could receive solid passing down usage in Week 1. The 29-year-old is locked into working as the lead receiver in Washington's backfield. While that does provide upside, he is essentially game script-dependent. That being said, there is the chance that Washington plays from behind in this matchup due to their secondary that struggled at times in 2021. That would lead to a negative game script and play right into the hand of the seven-year vet. McKissic could have a strong showing as he did at many points last season. However, he should only be considered a flex starter in PPR formats for Week 1.
