9/5:Boston Red Sox outfielder J.D. Martinez is getting a breather as he is sitting out Wednesday's game against the Atlanta Braves. With the AL East practically wrapped up, Red Sox manager Alex Cora is doing his best to give his everyday players some rest before the playoffs begin. Martinez should be back in the lineup on Friday against the Houston Astros. The 31-year-old slugger has a .335 average on the season with 39 home runs, 115 RBI, and five stolen bases. He is a must-start any time he is in the lineup.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
