6 months agoOakland Athletics starter Homer Bailey allowed nine runs on eight hits in two innings of work during Monday's 11-1 loss to the Houston Astros. Bailey walked three batters while striking out two. The performance was a far cry from his A's debut, where he allowed two runs across six innings. The 33-year-old now owns an 8-7 record on the season to go along with a 5.42 ERA, 1.48 WHIP, and 89/41 K/BB rate. Bailey is capable of tossing the occasional gem, but he is a volatile asset to own. He'll look to rebound in his next projected start against the Texas Rangers.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
