San Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. has been suspended 80 games for violating MLB's P.E.D. policy. This is a huge loss for the Padres, who just went all in at the deadline only to have their young star get busted for P.E.D.'s just as he was about to return. It's a shame that we won't get to see this star-studded lineup in all its glory until next year, as Tatis Jr. will also be ineligible for the playoffs. It's also terrible news for fantasy managers who have been waiting all year for Tatis Jr. to return from a fractured wrist, especially considering the trade deadline has already passed in most leagues. The boost Tatis Jr. would've given down the stretch run to both the Padres and fantasy managers will be sorely missed.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller
