Druw Jones On Track In His Rehab
2 years agoArizona Diamondbacks outfield prospect Druw Jones (shoulder) is making steady progress from shoulder surgery and is expected to be ready at or near the start of the minor-league season, according to general manager Mike Hazen. Jones suffered a torn posterior labrum in his left (non-throwing) shoulder last July. He's been hitting since January, and the organization is confident he can pick up right where he left off. Jones was the second overall pick in the 2022 draft, so he has a bright future despite the shoulder setback. We'll keep a close eye on Jones' progress from shoulder surgery this year, but it's looking like he'll have a relatively normal first full professional season in the minors.
