Dennis Smith Jr. Won't Play On Wednesday
8 months agoBrooklyn Nets guard Dennis Smith Jr. (hip) has been downgraded from questionable to out for Wednesday's matchup against the Pacers. He's nursing a hip problem and has played only four minutes across the past five games, meaning Smith Jr.'s absence won't change Brooklyn's plans much. Dennis Schroder will continue to dictate things on offense as the starting point guard, with Lonnie Walker IV getting a boost in playing time off the bench. Schroder and the Nets struggled on Monday versus Indiana and got blown out. However, the rematch will be a home game for the team, and we should see a better effort from Kevin Ollie's troops.
