DeAndre Hopkins, Larry Fitzgerald Miss Practice Wednesday
4 years agoArizona Cardinals wide receivers DeAndre Hopkins (hip) and Larry Fitzgerald (groin) and linebacker Haason Reddick (hip) did not take part in practice on Wednesday. Both receivers are likely just being rested early in the week ahead of a must-win Week 17 matchup with the division-rival Rams and their tough defense. Hopkins is likely to draw All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey in a rematch from Week 13 when Hopkins caught eight passes on 13 targets for 52 yards and a touchdown. Nuk has had some ups and downs in the second half of the season with quarterback Kyler Murray (leg) batting injuries, but he remains a must-start WR1 for the regular season finale. The 37-year-old Fitzgerald caught six passes and played on 86 percent of the offensive snaps last week, but he had only 28 yards in the loss to San Fran. Fitz has been a rarely used safety blanket for Murray in 2020.
