1 year agoWashington Wizards forward Danilo Gallinari is open to logging minutes as a center if needed. The team will need extra help in the position, with starting center Daniel Gafford (elbow) ruled out for several weeks. "Whatever needs to be out on the court, whatever position I need to play, I just want to play basketball. So any position is good," Gallinari said when asked about his willingness to play as a center. The 35-year-old is clearly hungry to just get on the court after missing the entire 2022-23 season with a knee injury. Gallinari has been a productive player throughout his career when healthy, but he isn't expected to play a large role this season with the Wizards in rebuild mode.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
