Daniel Ponce de Leon Exits Tuesday’s Game Early
Daniel Ponce de Leon was removed from Tuesday's game against the Tigers with shoulder discomfort. He allowed one run on one hit across 1/3 of an inning before exiting. The severity of his injury is unknown at this time and the 29-year-old is considered day-to-day. Ponce de Leon has struggled this season, owning a 7.03 ERA, 1.64 WHIP, and 17 strikeouts across 24 1/3 innings. The Cardinals right-hander missed three weeks in May with a shoulder issue. Fantasy managers can move on from Ponce de Leon if they haven't already.
