Damion Lee Notches A Career-High 31 Points Friday
2 years agoPhoenix Suns guard/forward Damion Lee led the team with a career-high 31 points in Friday's 121-116 loss to Minnesota. He provided microwave scoring off the bench in 31 minutes, shooting 10-for-17 from the field and a spectacular 6-for-7 from downtown. Lee capped off his career night with six rebounds and two assists. The 30-year-old is greatly benefiting from multiple injuries at present and has proven to be one of the better scorers in the current lineup. Duane Washington Jr. has also been one of the beneficiaries, but he settled for just eight points as a starter on Friday. The Suns will now be off until Monday, which will give the injured troops some time to heal, but Lee and Washington Jr. could continue to benefit next week if the lineup remains thin.
