Columbus Blue Jackets center Cole Sillinger scored his first career goal on Thursday, helping the team beat the Islanders 3-2 in overtime. The 18-year-old, who's the youngest player in the NHL this season, put the Jackets 2-1 up in the second period. Sillinger seemed to have been hungry for a goal all night as he ended up with a team-high six shots. He finished plus-one for the contest, logging 17:17 on the ice. The 12th pick of this year's draft has produced two points in his first four career appearances with 11 shots, three hits and two blocks. He centers the third line which includes the team's leading scorer Oliver Bjorkstrand.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
