Cody Core Promoted In Wake Of Injuries

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Cody Core has been promoted to the No. 2 spot on the team’s depth chart, at least for now. Listed behind Tyler Boyd, who is now the lead wideout as a result of the injury to A.J. Green (who could miss the next eight weeks with an ankle injury), and with John Ross dealing with hamstring tightness, the 25-year-old could have some value in deeper fantasy leagues this season, at least initially. Core, who finished the 2018 campaign with 13 receptions for 160 yards and a touchdown, is worth keeping an eye on, especially in Week 1 DFS contests against a mediocre Seahawks’ defense.
