Chase Edmonds, Larry Fitzgerald Miss Practice
4 years agoArizona Cardinals running back Chase Edmonds (ankle, knee) and wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald (groin) did not practice on Wednesday. Edmonds was questionable to play in Week 15 but ended up with his best performance of the season, totaling 14 touches, 66 yards and a touchdown with more touches than Kenyan Drake. We can't expect to see that two weeks in a row, but Edmonds has RB3/flex standalone value in PPR leagues as he continues to split the touches with Drake. Make sure Edmonds gets in at least a limited practice later this week before locking him into your lineups. Fitzgerald is likely just being rested after a bout with COVID-19. The 37-year-old veteran had three catches for 35 yards and a touchdown last week, but his snaps have been on the decline and he is an unreliable, touchdown-dependent WR4/5 in deeper leagues.
