Charlie Blackmon Homers In Second Straight
Colorado Rockies outfielder Charlie Blackmon launched his second home run of the weekend to help Colorado snag another victory from the Marlins on Sunday. Blackmon's solo drive combined with a critical single in the bottom of the ninth to keep the Rockies in the game and allow them to walk it off in the 10th inning. Following a drop in his home run total last year, there was concern that the 32-year-old might be starting his decline, but he's blasted his way back into relevance this year by drilling homers at a pace more reminiscent of 2017 and hitting for an eye-popping .327 average once again. Blackmon has given plenty of return to his owners this year.
