8/3:After New York Yankees starting pitcher CC Sabathia only provided the Yankees with three innings in Thursday night’s defeat to the Red Sox, the club would eventually trot out Luis Cessa. The problem with that appearance for Cessa is that he was initially brought back to the majors to start Saturday afternoon’s game in light of news that J.A. Happ was headed to the DL. Now, Chance Adams seems like the favorite to get the start. The 23-year-old former highly-touted prospect is scheduled to start for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Saturday, so he would be lined up for the appearance. Over his last 10 starts, Adams has gone 1-3 with a 3.72 ERA, including 7 2/3 innings of scoreless baseball his last time out.--Ricky Delgado - RotoBaller
