Case Keenum 2018 Player Outlook: Cheap Quarterback With Upside
6 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Case Keenum came out of nowhere to turn in a career year in 2017. Then playing for the Minnesota Vikings, Keenum took over for the injured Sam Bradford in Week 2 and never looked back after being left on the scrap heap the year before. Playing with star wideouts Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen, Keenum finished 2017 with 3,547 passing yards, 22 touchdowns, and seven interceptions in 15 games. In Denver, Keenum will have a similarly-talented wide receiver group to target, led by star producers Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders. While some regression can be expected in 2018, Keenum is a better quarterback than most people think. He can be treated as a rock-solid QB2 in fantasy leagues in 2018 and a desirable late-round target for owners who choose to wait on the position in drafts.
