Miami Marlins reliever Calvin Faucher collected his third save of the season on Sunday, shutting down the New York Mets to preserve a 3-2 win. Faucher allowed a pair of hits but was able to strike out two and prevent the Mets from scoring. With Tanner Scott and AJ Puk sent to contenders at the trade deadline, it appears Faucher is the de facto closer for the Marlins. He has three saves in August and has been used in every conventional save situation the Marlins have had. He should be rostered in deeper leagues that count saves and can be looked at as a desperation option in standard leagues.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller
