Colorado Avalanche defenseman Bowen Byram will miss Thursday's match against Montreal after suffering an upper-body injury in Wednesday's 8-3 loss to Toronto. He logged 19:52 of ice time against the Maple Leafs but finished with a minus-three rating, so it was a real struggle for the 20-year-old. Byram recently returned from a concussion, and according to head coach Jared Bednar, the young blue-liner has hurt his head again. The fourth pick of the 2019 draft has done very well when healthy this season, registering four goals and five assists in 13 games. Kurtis MacDermid is set to replace him in the lineup on Thursday.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
