Boston Scott A Potential Replacement For Darren Sproles
6 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson mentioned running back Boston Scott as a Darren Sproles replacement because of his skill set. Josh Adams, Wendell Smallwood and Scott could be competing for one spot behind Jordan Howard, rookie Miles Sanders and Corey Clement. A sixth-round pick in 2018, Scott was active in only two games as a rookie and didn't touch the ball at all. He's more effective catching the ball out of the backfield, though, so he could make the team based on that skill set. However, he'll be nothing more than a very deep sleeper in PPR leagues if he's on the final roster in a crowded backfield.
