Blake Jarwin Unlikely To Play Sunday
Blake Jarwin (hip) missed his second straight day of practice on Thursday and is unlikely to play in Week 9 against the Denver Broncos. A Jarwin absence would be good news for Dalton Schultz, who should be considered a midrange TE1 this weekend with quarterback Dak Prescott (calf) returning against a Broncos defense that has been extremely banged up at the linebacker position and who just traded away All-Pro pass-rusher Von Miller. If Jarwin is indeed inactive, Jeremy Sprinkle will likely be Schultz's primary backup on Sunday. Jarwin does have two touchdowns this year, but he's been playing second fiddle to Schultz most weeks and has only 10 catches on 15 targets for 90 yards in seven games played.
