Blake Jarwin, Tyron Smith Ruled Out For Week 9
3 years agoDallas Cowboys tight end Blake Jarwin (hip) and left tackle Tyron Smith (ankle) have both officially been ruled out for the Week 9 game against the Denver Broncos on Sunday. Jarwin suffered his injury in the Week 8 win over the Minnesota Vikings, while Smith aggravated his ankle injury last Sunday night and is now dealing with bone chips in his ankle. Jarwin has mostly been playing second fiddle to Dalton Schultz at the position in Dallas, so he hasn't had much weekly fantasy appeal. With Jarwin sidelined, Schultz could see a few more looks, especially in the red zone. Consider him a midrange TE1 with quarterback Dak Prescott (calf) making his return under center. Ty Nsekhe will start on Prescott's blind side this weekend with Smith out.
