Albert Okwuegbunam Should Have Big Role Yet Again
2 years agoDenver Broncos tight end Albert Okwuegbunam reminded us that he's still in the NFL in the Week 17 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs when he caught three passes on six targets for a season-high 45 yards and his first touchdown of the year. It came after the Broncos put rookie tight end Greg Dulcich (hamstring) on Injured Reserve, opening up more playing time for Okwuegbunam to close things out. Tight ends Eric Saubert (knee) and Eric Tomlinson (ankle) are both questionable to play in Week 18 against the Los Angeles Chargers, so Albert O could see even more targets. The 24-year-old will be cheap in DFS, but he should be considered a deep sleeper as a TE2 in Denver's low-scoring offense. He has only 10 catches (17 targets) for 95 yards and the one TD in seven games this year.
