Alan Trejo Hits First Career Home Run
4 years agoColorado Rockies shortstop Alan Trejo went 1-for-2 with a solo home run in a 9-5 loss to the Oakland A's on Friday. Trejo didn't start this game and entered the game as part of a double switch in the top of the seventh inning. He took over at shortstop for Brendan Rodgers and led off the bottom half of the frame with the first home run of his career, a shot to left-center field off of Burch Smith. The 25-year-old is slashing a mediocre .225/.273/.350 with the one home run and three RBI over 40 at-bats. He's not on the fantasy radar at all but Friday night was a big moment for him personally.
