Adrian Peterson Joining Seattle's Active Roster
3 years agoThe Seattle Seahawks will activate running back Adrian Peterson off the practice squad to the active roster for Sunday's divisional clash with the San Francisco 49ers, according to a source. Peterson was added to the team's practice squad earlier this week, and he'll quickly join the active roster after he impressed the coaching staff in practice. Alex Collins (abdomen), Rashaad Penny (hamstring) and Travis Homer (calf) are all questionable to play in Week 13, but they were all able to practice this week and have a shot at being available on Sunday. With Collins averaging well under 4.0 yards per carry since Chris Carson (neck) went on Injured Reserve, the Seahawks could very well shake up their backfield this weekend as they look to spark their offense, but it's impossible to know who will benefit the most. Collins has been a low-upside, touchdown-dependent RB3/flex. DeeJay Dallas is in the mix as well.
