Adrian Peterson Has Low Ceiling Against Saints
4 years agoDetroit Lions running back Adrian Peterson will face one of his former teams when the Lions host the Saints in Week 4. Peterson has been named the lead runner in the backfield for Detroit and is averaging 4.9 yards per carry through 43 touches this season. The veteran will face a Saints Defense, however, that has held star runners like the Raiders Josh Jacobs and the Packers Aaron Jones mostly in check. New Orleans is currently giving up the 13th fewest fantasy points to opposing backs and Peterson will have RB3 value in Week 4 with a ceiling that could be capped by the matchup and the lack of explosiveness from the 35-year-old running back.
