7 years agoKansas City Royals outfielder Abraham Almonte will be getting the start on Tuesday against the Red Sox. Almonte is filling in for injured star Mike Moustakas, though he’ll be playing outfield while Cheslor Cuthbert will cover the hot corner. Almonte is hitting .250 so far with two homers in 44 at-bats, so he’s playing like a pretty mediocre outfielder, and owners shouldn’t expect anything more from the 29-year-old backup.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
