During the fight, Pinheiro struggled to land power shots and effectively execute takedowns. After Hill threw a head kick, Pinheiro ducked and Hill attempted a guillotine choke. Not long after, Hill rolled and secured a mounted guillotine, forcing Pinheiro to tap. In 9:12 of action, Pinheiro landed a takedown and 17 significant strikes.
