What is Novig?
Novig is one of the fastest-growing peer-to-peer sports prediction markets. On Novig, users trade directly with each other, without the "vig" typically associated with a sportsbook. The vig is the fee sportsbooks charge you to use their services. It's a hidden cost that can be found in the odds that are being offered on each side of a specific bet. When a book offers -110 odds on both sides of a bet, it is keeping close to 10% of every bettor's wager, regardless of whether you win or lose.
On Novig, users trade with each other on the outcomes of sporting events, similarly to the way that investors trade on the stock market. But instead of having to beat the books, you just have to win against other users -- there's no commission kept by the site.
Users can bet on most traditional sports markets, including moneyline bets, spreads, totals, tournament matchups, player props, parlays, and futures!
Novig operates with two virtual currencies. Novig coins can be wagered for fun and to test out strategies, while Novig cash can be wagered on all markets and then redeemed for real cash prizes.
Access to Novig is widespread; it's now accessible in 36 U.S. states.
How Does Novig Work?
Since users are not playing against the books, there is an opportunity to make more money per wager that you win, and users can usually find better values on bets (in terms of the prices being offered) than on traditional sportsbooks.
There are no oddsmakers; users dictate their own odds. You can either accept the odds that the market is offering or set your own odds.
If you set your own odds, another user has to accept them on the other side for the bet to be activated.
Users drive the market, not the sportsbook or oddsmakers!

Rickie Fowler (+100 at Novig) OVER Ben Griffin
Once among the game's elite, Fowler's is a name that rarely pops on my radar in recent years. Perhaps it's appropriate to touch on the former superstar this week, as the PGA Tour returns to Doral for the first time since 2016 - a tournament in which Fowler just so happened to log a T8 result. He's one of the few players teeing it up this week who experienced The Blue Monster as a regular stop on the PGA Tour schedule.

Fowler's been far from great in 2026, but there have been some positive signs. After starting the calendar year with three straight top-25 outings, the 37-year-old has recorded top-10 finishes in two of his last five outings - including a T8 in his most recent start at the RBC Heritage.
Conversely, Griffin's arrow has been pointing down, as his last top-25 result came at The American Express in January. His iron play has been drastically underwhelming, as he's lost strokes on approach in seven of his last eight starts. It's a throwback kinda week, so I'll roll with the veteran Fowler at plus-money on Novig.
Adam Scott (+111 at Novig) OVER Jake Knapp
We'll continue this week's vintage theme with 45-year-old Adam Scott at +111 over rising star Jake Knapp. The Aussie veteran is a former winner at Doral, and was a steady presence atop WGC-Cadillac Championship leaderboards, posting four finishes of T13-or-better in the five years leading up to his 2016 victory on this course.
Despite his age, Scott ranks in the top 20 on the PGA Tour this year in Driving Distance, SG: OTT, and Club Head Speed. His iron play has also been sublime, as he stands third in both SG: Approach and Proximity.
Something to monitor:
Jake Knapp (playing with Rickie Fowler, Max Homa, and Akshay Bhatia), holding his left wrist walking off of six tee.
I haven’t seen him make a full swing in the 3+ holes I’ve followed this group. Only chipping and putting.

While Scott's statistics are excellent, Jake Knapp hasn't been a slouch this year, cranking out top-10s at an elite rate. However, he is coming off one of his worst outings of the year at Harbour Town (T74), and my RotoBaller colleague Ian McNeill - who is on the grounds this week at Doral - said that Knapp is potentially nursing a wrist issue.

PGA Finishing Position Props
All odds are from Novig and were accurate as of 4/28/2026. Odds are subject to change.
Adam Scott WINNER (+5782 at Novig)
You can see my more in-depth thoughts on the fit for Scott this week in the matchups portion of the article, but his outright number of +5782 is by far the best value you'll find anywhere in the industry this week.
Harris English WINNER (+7043 at Novig)
There are some obvious parallels between Scott and Harris English, as they are both steady veterans who thrive on tough golf courses. English has competed at Doral at logged a top-10 finish in the 2016 WGC-Cadillac Championship, as well as a T16 in his additional start at The Blue Monster.
As for the present day, English remains one of the PGA Tour's most consistent performers. He's quietly logged six top-25 finishes across 10 starts this year, and comes into this event on the heels of his best outing of 2026 - a T4 at the RBC Heritage.
Though his iron play hasn't been great from a statistical standpoint, this +7043 at Novig is a downright juicy number when compared to his +4000-5000 odds at FanDuel and DraftKings.
