ANALYSIS: There is nothing unknown hidden in Paul Richardson's game. He is a 27-year-old veteran, this is his second season in Washington, and he has lost ample time to injury in the past. His best days are a couple of years away from him when back in 2017 he posted up 703 yards on 44 receptions for six touchdowns after moving from Seattle to Washington. He's always been a 10-points per game fantasy option, with the once-per-season surprise of putting up 25 points in the most random of occasions.

This season, Washington is bad. Super bad, actually, while using a three-quarterback rotation and now an interim head coach. But no matter the thrower, there must be a catcher at the other end of each pass. Turns out Richardson has been one of the most targeted wideouts in Washington so far. Richardson has seen 26 targets, just two shy of Trey Quinn and five fewer than standout Terry McLaurin. Even with that, Richardson is the second wide receiver in yards (268) in Washington through five games, has 20 receptions (leads Washington's receivers) and has scored two touchdowns. Not bad for such a shaky team.

Now, I have good and bad news going forward. Washington visits Miami in Week 6, so you'll want to get Richardson on your roster. Richardson will be primed to score big-time fantasy points this weekend against the seventh-worst defense against WRs and the best tanking team in the nation. The bad news: you will need to drop Richardson the exact moment the whistle marks the final of the game against Miami because he'll lose all of his value going forward and you'll probably find better options available.

If all things click against a middling Miami team, Richardson could reach 15-to-20 points, although you also should know the other side of the coin with these additions: Richardson's floor could be as low as a 5-point outcome or even a goose egg in the worst of days.
