The Green Bay Packers have been in dire need for a tight end ever since Jermichael Finley. Richard Rodgers filled in will for the Pack in 2015, most notably on that miraculous TD catch to end the game against Detroit. However, they still needed a tight end who could create more matchup problems. Jared Cook could be this guy.
At first glance it's not an exciting pickup, but Cook has always been a nice size/speed threat. He's 6'5, he's very athletic, and he's only 28 years old. His talent never translated because of growing pains combined with some inept quarterbacking in Tennessee and St. Louis. He now has the chance to team up with Aaron Rodgers though, and Cook's value could skyrocket if he can play well in Green Bay.
