NHL DFS Prop Picks for 6/15 - PrizePicks

Hello everybody and welcome! We bring you yet another playoff edition of NHL DFS on PrizePicks and that means our friends over at PrizePicks have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.

Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best, and easiest to win, NHL DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score. This game consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For NHL, Single Stat consists of save and shooter shot props in which you determine if the goalie or shooter in question will go over or under their projected save and shot total respectively. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. For today's article, we are going to try and focus on the main board's Fantasy Score and see which players may go over or under their projected point totals. Let's see what the board offers today!

Please note that today's slate has an overlap with Wednesday's game. So, if it seems like there are a few weird names, that is why. We will focus on tonight's game with hints on Slack and social media for the overlap as well. There will be a few more picks on social media as conditions and statuses change.

Fantasy Score Point Totals

Anthony Beauvillier Over 2.6 Points. Sometimes going to the well once too often pays off as we did in Game 1 with Beauvillier. He rewarded us with five shots on goal and an assist. He led all New York players in shots and scoring chances. The winger added a blocked shot as well which has been a bit of a tendency. That is good news for all prop players. If he keeps hitting the net with his shot (averaging a half-dozen attempts a game against Tampa this season), then keep taking the prop total and running the over.

Tomas Tatar Under 2.4 Points. Wednesday night may feature another installment of will Tatar even play? He has been scratched for seven games now with an undisclosed injury. The surprise is that PrizePicks even has him as a prop at this juncture. Take the gift horse if it is allowed. The expectation is that Tatar will be held out of Game 2 as well. The bigger question is will he return when the series comes to Montreal. Few have that answer either. The assumption is to stay away from Tatar and roll with the under until further notice.

Alex Pietrangelo Over 3.6 Points. This could be somewhat of a risk but Pietrangelo keeps firing shots on net. He had 10+ shot attempts in Game 1 against the Montreal Canadiens. One of the regular season problems Montreal had was unblocked shot attempts. At one point, they were ranked fifth-worst in the league. Vegas exposed Montreal a bit in Game 1 with three goals coming from defensemen. Pietrangelo had seven shots on goal and three blocked shots in the series opener. He had four scoring chances as well. The over is a trending play at this relatively low prop total.

Nikita Kucherov Over 5.0 Points. There was finally an inching up of the prop total from 4.6 to 5. That is something to be thankful for. As long as the Tampa Bay Lightning gets a few power-play opportunities, Kucherov's effectiveness and point potential go up. The Russian winger is the quarterback of their power play as most everything channels through him and even despite a flat Game 1, Kucherov managed a point on the power play. Expect a few more opportunities for Kucherov on Tuesday. He has seven points in his last four games -- even with two subpar efforts recently. The chances for bouncing back are high.
