NHL DFS Prop Picks for 6/1 - PrizePicks

Hello everybody and welcome! We bring you our third playoff edition of NHL DFS on PrizePicks and that means our friends over at PrizePicks have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.

Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best, and easiest to win, NHL DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score. This game consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For NHL, Single Stat consists of save and shooter shot props in which you determine if the goalie or shooter in question will go over or under their projected save and shot total respectively. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. For today's article, we are going to try and focus on the main board's Fantasy Score and see which players may go over or under their projected point totals. Let's see what the board offers today!

Please note that today's slate has an overlap with Wednesday's two-game slate. So, if it seems like there are a few weird names, that is why. We will focus on tonight's game with hints on Slack and social media for the Wednesday night contests as well.

Fantasy Score Point Totals

Sebastian Aho Under 4.6 Points. Sometimes Andrei Vasilevskiy can just live rent-free in a team's head. That is kind of what Carolina started to feel during Game 1 of their series with Tampa Bay on Sunday. It was not just the amount of shots but the quality. It may seem like a risk to take the under here but Aho was held to two shots and a blocked shot in his last game. The outlook for tonight does not appear to be all that much better. Maybe Aho gets an assist but does he get enough on goal? That's the question. Risk the under.

Brayden Point Over 4 Points. Tuesday night is another installment of how will Point somehow hit the over in ways that defy logic. In Sunday's Game 1, Point found a way to score a goal he probably did not have business scoring. His power-play goal with three shots was a carbon copy effort of his series clincher versus Florida in the last round. Point often goes on these runs in the playoffs where it looks like he is doing nothing. Then, magically, he has a goal or an assist out of nowhere. Take the over here but know that it will be close.

Andrei Svechnikov Under 4 Points. This could be tough especially if Svechnikov finally keeps the momentum going. He had five shots on goal and an assist in Game 1 versus Tampa Bay. The problem is the Russian winger can get either a ton of shots on goal or very few on the net. There seems to be little in between. Svechnikov had an incredible Game 1 versus Nashville and since then has not scored a single goal. At some point, he will break through again. The dangerous part is tempting fate here. Honestly, taking the under is doing that but worth a look.

Nikita Kucherov Under 4.6 Points. This appears to be ridiculous as well but Kucherov is starting to get worn down a little bit. Playing a physical Carolina team does not help matters. Combine that with six tough games against the Florida Panthers and it is understandable as to why Kucherov is having trouble -- especially at even strength. The Hurricanes made life for Kucherov extremely difficult on Sunday and could continue to do so on Tuesday. If Carolina remains disciplined, fewer power-play opportunities will mean fewer chances for Kucherov. Take the under!
