DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NHL DFS Picks
Mason McTavish- DK $4.6K || FD $5.0K
Opponent - Vegas Golden Knights
In his four games since returning from injury, McTavish has not made much of an impact, with no goals and just five shots. However, tonight's game could present an opportunity for a fast-paced, high-scoring matchup. Vegas, playing on the road this season, is not exactly known for its defensive prowess, ranking in the bottom five of the NHL in expected goals against per 60 minutes (XGA/60), scoring chances against per 60 minutes (SCA/60), and high-danger chances against per 60 minutes (HDCA/60). This situation is favorable for Anaheim, which boasts a top 10 offense at home, despite having a bottom-10 defense. Given these dynamics, I would strongly consider a game stack in this matchup.

From a DFS perspective, this game may not get much attention since both teams are known for their strong defenses. However, Benn and his line are likely to avoid matchups against the Danault line for most of the night. Given his price, he is worth considering, as we don’t require him to meet a high return value, and he is likely to be largely unowned.

Noah Hanifin - (DK $4.0K || FD $5.3K)
Opponent - Anaheim Ducks
Hanifin is priced exceptionally low tonight in what is expected to be the highest-scoring game. I really like affordable defensemen who shoot the puck, and with 9 shots in his last three games, Hanifin provides great value for exposure in this matchup. Additionally, the Ducks rank in the bottom 10 of the NHL for shots allowed to defensemen on home ice. For me, Hanifin is a solid pick tonight.
