NHL DFS Analysis and Picks for 11/27/24
It’s hard to believe we are a month into the season! The good news is that we have actionable data to analyze and identify which players to target. Let’s take a look at who stands out to me tonight.

DraftKings and FanDuel Goalies - NHL DFS Picks
Petr Mrazek - DK $6.9K || FD $6.8K
Opponent - Dallas Stars

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NHL DFS Picks
Tommy Novak - DK $2.8K || FD $4.1K
Opponent - Philadelphia Flyers
A significant reason for the Predators' poor start to the season has been their bottom six players, who have not contributed much. A major factor in this has been Novak's slow start and subsequent injury. He has returned for four games but has yet to score. However, he has taken seven shots in his last two games and appears to be developing chemistry with his new linemates, Jankowski and Marchessault. Over the last two games, they have averaged over 15 minutes of ice time and generated an expected goals for per 60 minutes (XGF/60) of 4.11, along with nearly 12 high-danger scoring chances per 60 minutes (HDCF/60). This was achieved against two very strong teams, the Jets and the Devils. I think Novak could be an intriguing value pick if you're stacking players elsewhere on this monster slate.

Kirill Marchenko - (DK $4.9K || FD $6.3K)
Opponent - Montreal Canadians
Marchenko is on the higher end of what I would consider a value play, but I believe you absolutely need him in your lineups tonight against a struggling Montreal team that is playing on back-to-back nights. This season, he ranks second on the Jackets in shots on goal per 60 minutes (SF/60) with 39.87. He is also in the top three for expected goals per 60 minutes (XGF/60), high-danger chances per 60 minutes (HDCF/60), and scoring chances for per 60 minutes (SCF/60). Given that Montreal is near the bottom of the NHL in almost every defensive statistic we analyze, Marchenko is certainly a must-play tonight!

Opponent - New York Rangers
"Ghost" is back in action! After an impressive start to his season, he experienced a rough stretch of seven games with no more than one shot on net. However, in his last six games, he's made a strong comeback with 17 shots on goal. Tonight, he faces a Rangers team that is giving up a lot of shots to defensemen on the road. Whenever we have the opportunity to include a high-volume shooting defenseman in a favorable matchup—especially one who quarterbacks the top power play unit—for $4,000 or less, we need to give serious consideration to including him in our lineups.
